Stunning fabrics from Marrakech’s weavers

The exciting craftsmanship contributes significantly to the fascination of Marrakech. All the colors, shapes and the incredible diversity of the artistry are impressive. It’s only understandable that designers and trendsetters from all over the world now regularly make pilgrimages to the Moroccan metropolis to look for inspiration for their own work.

A popular hotspot there is the Cooperative Artisinale ENNAHDA des Tisserands, the craft cooperative of the weavers. Around 80 employees work in this area. They hold an incredible knowledge of the processing of materials such as cotton, wool or silk. Machines and knowledge are passed on from generation to generation so that this wonderful craft does not die out.
